Assessment Products

Human Dimensions is an authorized distributor of Inscape Publishing products. We use these products to complement our training, coaching, and consulting services.  We offer our clients the following on-line and hard copy Inscape profiles in support of their leadership, team, and professional development programs:

  • DiSC® Classic.  The DiSC® Dimensions of Behavior provides a context for enhancing individual and team performance through self exploration and understanding of preferred ways of interacting with and influencing one’s environment and other’s in a work context.  The DiSC® Classic assessment provides insight into one’s behavior across four dimensions: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. It provides a basis for appreciating the individual needs and strengths of each team member, reducing conflict, enhancing communication, and improving teamwork.

  • Team Dimensions Profile®.  The Team Dimensions Profile® allows individuals and team to appreciate their role and contribution in helping teams work together to achieve desired outcomes. This profile allows each team member to clearly understand and appreciate the natural role each person plays and to capitalize on individual approaches to group processes.  The five roles include Creator, Advancer, Refiner, Executor, and Flexer. Armed with a deeper understanding of individual approaches to teamwork, the role of each member is respected and used appropriately.  In turn, the team deepens its level of trust and cohesiveness, increasing the team’s productivity and effectiveness.

  • Work Expectations Profile®.  In today’s organizational environment people come to the workplace with a set of expectations that they want fulfilled.  Often these expectations go unspoken and unacknowledged.  It is to an individual’s and a manager’s benefit to understand what those expectations are, to communicate them, and to come to an understanding if and how those expectations can be met. Research has shown that people who have clearly defined, well-communicated expectations have better attitudes and enjoy greater job satisfaction compared to those who do not. As a result, organizational productivity and morale are enhanced. Doing so will reduce conflict and the number of discontent employees. The Work Expectations Profile helps people explore 10 key expectations that impact the employment relationship. These include: Structure, Diversity, Recognition, Autonomy, Environment, Expression, Teamwork, Stability, Balance, and Career Growth.

  • Dimensions of Leadership Profile®. The Dimensions of Leadership Profile® helps people discover personal leadership characteristics; develop an understanding of the leader-follower relationship, and match leadership approaches to organizational needs. The profile examines four broad aspects of leadership: Character, Analysis, Accomplishment, and Interaction.

  • Coping and Stress Profile®. In today’s dynamic and fast-paced world, balancing work-life demands becomes a difficult balance to strike. Further, the boundaries between personal stress and work stress become blurred. Stress in one area of your life leaks into and impacts the others. Developing effective coping skills is essential.  The Coping and Stress Profile® connects and gives individuals insight about their coping and stress in four interrelated areas: Personal, Work, Couple, and Family. Individuals learn how to use their coping resources to decrease stress in each of these areas.

  • Personal Listening Profile®.  It is our firm belief that the root of most communication and conflict problems stems from the inability to listen effectively.  Effective communicators leave people feeling authentically listened to and understood. Behavioral research shows that people approach listening not only with different intentions but also in a preferred listening mode.  The Personal Listening Profile® allows a person to identify their specific and most natural listening approach (i.e., Appreciative, Empathic, Comprehensive, Discerning, and Evaluative). Individuals learn to how to change their listening approach to more appropriately match the situation to enhance their communication effectiveness and, in turn, the quality of their interpersonal relationships within the organization and externally with customers and stakeholders.
